On arrival in Mauritius, you will be met at the airport by your English speaking representative. Together with all other group members who may be arriving at a similar time, travel to your hotel and check in. Upon check in enjoy all the hotel has to offer, including all-inclusive food and drinks. Please note: Early check-in is not included. If your flight arrives in the morning and you wish to arrange this, please speak to your reservation’s consultant. You will be transferred by shared coach with other passengers who are not part of a Wendy Wu Tour. If you are on a shared bus transfer, you may have to walk for a few minutes to get to your hotel. Transfers will differ depending on group size.
After breakfast this morning, begin your full-day tour of the Southwest of Mauritius. You will have the chance to take a stroll around the crater of a dormant volcano, Trou aux Cerfs, and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the island. You will discover the Hindu culture of Mauritius by visiting the Hindu temples around the crater lake of Grand Bassin and drive by the largest reservoir of the island and through the Black River Gorges National Park, and stop to admire the views and the Alexandra falls. And, last but not least, you will visit the popular Seven Coloured Earths and Chamarel Falls.
Today is leisure time where you can enjoy the amenities of the hotel and relax or alternatively choose to book an optional excursion.

Your cruise concludes as you reach Cape Town cruise terminal today, where you will be met by an English-speaking guide and transferred to your hotel. This evening you’ll day at the wonderful GOLD Restaurant, an immersive and authentic African experience that features a 14course taste safari and traditional African entertainment.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before going on to embark on a guided tour of the ‘Mother City’ with your English-speaking guide. Take a drive through the city centre and make a stop at the historical Greenmarket Square before heading to the 17th century Castle of Good Hope. You will also visit the Company’s Garden and discover the Bo-Kaap area of Cape Town. Formerly known as the Malay Quarter, this picturesque corner of Cape Town is well known for its vast collection of colourful houses and cobblestone streets. Continue on to pay a visit to Table Mountain (weather dependent), a flat-topped mountain overlooking the city of Cape Town, with spectacular views of the Lions Head and Signal Hill on the left, the City Bowl in the middle and Devils Peak on the right. Then this evening enjoy dinner at Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
After breakfast, meet your English-speaking guide and transfer to the Winelands. The experience starts with an exciting Wine Blending You will receive a selection of blending components with the challenge to create your own blend. A wine Ambassador will guide you through the process showing how and why certain varieties harmonise better than others. After your wine blending experience we head to another wine farm in the Franschhoek valley. Here you will enjoy your lunch followed by a wine and chocolate pairing tasting. Journey back to Cape Town and spend the remainder of your evening at leisure.
Depart early for your tour of the Peninsula. You will head South and weather permitting, drive via Chapman's Peak. The famous Chapman's Peak Drive is a nine-kilometre coastal road on the Cape Peninsula, south of Cape Town. Afterwards you will head to the Cape of Good Hope. The Cape of Good Hope is a rocky headland on the Atlantic Coast of the Cape Peninsula. Cape Point may not quite be the southernmost point of Africa, but it will still make you feel as if you were standing on the edge of the world. On the way back to Cape Town you stop at the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
Any time before your flight is at leisure. You will be transferred from your hotel to the airport, according to the departure time of your international flight. Please note: Only breakfast is included today. Late checkout is not included.
