Great tour with very knowledgeable guide. Four stars as room at Tulip Hotel at Gurgaon was grotty. Have reprted this to Go India on feedback form. Given the cost of the tour I felt as regards this particular hotel they could have done better. Tips were organised in advance but in the 11 years since I last visited India I found that hotel porters and toilet attendants were generally expecting tips routinely on top of that.

Incredibly well-organised tour which gives a wonderful introduction to India. The sights are so ancient and yet in amazing condition. It’s an onslaught to all the senses in a very positive and energising way. Highly recommended!

Our first trip with Wendy Wu and we can’t wait for the next one! This was an excellent tour of Ragasthan, visiting wonderful temples, palaces and forts, as well as showing us many different aspects of life for people in this part of India. Accommodation was excellent throughout, ranging from luxury tents in the desert, to beautiful hotels, some converted from old former palaces. Coach travel was comfortable ( air conditioning, plentiful water available, frequent toilet and refreshment stops) and our guide was brilliant with his wide-ranging knowledge and amusing anecdotes.
We would highly recommend this trip to other travellers keen to explore this part of India. Well done Wendy Wu🏆

Amazing experience! We travelled in Feb 2025 and had Raj for our tour guide. He was flexible and did everything possible to accommodate requests for additional adventures. So, we did far more than the itinerary. We accomplished all 3 highlights, even seeing a tiger. It was magical, emotional and touched us all. She was beautiful. We were later told we only had a 20% chance of seeing a tiger in February, which made it even more special. Be prepared to be fit and healthy, as the days whizz by and are packed full of adventures, quality shopping experiences and unforgettable sights. Plus great local food. If you are flexible and open to new experiences you'll have a great time.

Absolutely wonderful. Every meal was a banquet and busses were on time for every outing. The hotels were great Loved the itinerary and all our outings Really well organised. Better than I had expected in every way. Our tour director was extremely efficient and thought of every eventuality, sorting out a few errors which we, the group, created. He looked after one of our less mobile members of the group above and beyond the call of duty.

An extraordinary glimpse of this huge country. I’ll remember the chaos and noise; the colours and smiles; the Mughals and their artistry shown in their palaces and forts; the tigers and bears of Rathnambore NP and the exquisite Taj Mahal. It was a true assault on all the senses.

Extremely well organised. Tour guide not just very knowledgeable but also read the group dynamics and needs very well. Would definitely recommend this tour but be aware that it is very “full on” with busy schedules each day.

Our Tour: Good
We experienced a wide variety of places from Desert( Rode on Camels) to Cities(Lots of Palaces and Forts) to Wildlife (Saw a Tiger up close.) All were very good. The downside was the the lengthy coach trips, sometimes 7/8 hours a day. Very tiring and not much to look at. The Hotels were excellent except for Tulip Suites, Gurgaon ( Rooms need a refurb) and Ramada, Jaipur, (Food was very poor). Vishal, our guide was excellent. Went more than the extra mile to help and inform. Food generally was OK and plentiful (mostly buffets), mainly vegetarian, (only meat was chicken), but became a bit monotomous. Its a pretty full on tour but you see and experience a lot of the real India.

We enjoyed the tour which was interesting and gave a quick view of life in that part of India. The tour was well organised and all the hotels were fine .We would criticise the food which became monotonous as all hotels and lunch places offered the same dishes ,some variety in the dishes would have been good .Also given the age of the group a chance to look at small gifts for grand children would have been good rather than higher end goods .The tour group moved well .

Taj, Temples & Tigers ( Golden Triangle )

A packed holiday seeing and experiencing so many different things. There were 26 people in our group which was quite a large number. Our guide was Hamel who knew so much about everything. He was brilliant. He also sorted out any issues anyone had (including finding people who had wondered off in the wrong direction in very busy places).
I am including information that I hope will help anyone going on this holiday.
When you arrive in Delhi you have to fill a form in at the airport - there is no information about this but if you get in the queue without completing the form (they are readily available at the airport) you will be sent back to fill one in each.
In Delhi some people went out of the hotel by themselves - be prepared to be approached by hawkers and people wanting to take you to specific shops. We decided that was not for us.
Where the temples etc required women to cover up they provided gowns - but Hamel let us know when we should wear something specific so we could turn up prepared.
There was a lot of smog in Delhi and a bit at Agra. Because of the smog in Agra, Hamel rearranged the day we visited the Taj Mahal as we wouldn’t have been able to see it properly at dawn. Hamel arranged for us all to have photographs taken by photographers on what he called the “Diana bench” - the quality of these photos was disappointing (but not very expensive) so remember to take lots of photos yourselves.
We went on the safaris and actually saw a tiger which was lying in full sight and then it got up and walked about before walking away - so got some good photos. Going on the morning safari it was very cold so remember to wrap up warm and maybe wear a coat and hat. By the afternoon it had really warmed up.
We were a bit apprehensive about all the travelling but we had a big coach so everyone could spread out and there was a lot to see on the journeys. We stopped every 2 hours or so for a break and a chance to visit a toilet and buy a drink. At every place we visited there were western toilets - but not many had toilet paper - at a lot of places there were ladies handing out sheets of toilet paper and asking for a tip. There was also nothing to dry your hands on afterwards and the paper the same ladies gave you for that just disintegrated. So travel prepared!
All the hotels were great - the food was mainly bland curries but in most of the hotels plenty of choice.
Although the brochure says “try your hand at hand printing” this was a demonstration rather than letting you have a go at it.
This was a brilliant holiday - none of the above observations are complaints - just information. I highly recommend this holiday. There was so much to see - we’ve taken hundreds of photos.

Great tour for first time visitors to India. Ample time spend at all the major sights and tour guide was very informative. Bus not of the same standard as what European travellers may be used to but still comfortable. Accommodation by and large average to good but meals very average at best with very little variation. Regardless we had a great time and can definitely recommend this tour.
