Mina – our Beijing guide – set the bar incredibly high. Not only was she deeply knowledgeable, but she shared Beijing’s history and culture with such clarity and passion that every site became more meaningful.

In Xi’an, our guide Brittany was an absolute delight. Her enthusiasm was infectious—she brought the rich history of the city and the Terracotta Warriors to life with engaging storytelling and personal insights. Her energy and passion made each moment special.

In Zhangjiajie, our guide Oscar went above and beyond in every way. His hospitality was remarkable—genuine, thoughtful, and always attentive. He possessed an impressive combination of calm professionalism, impeccable coordination, and heartfelt care. From navigating the intricate national park routes to sharing fascinating regional perspectives, Oscar made us feel welcomed and truly looked after. His patience, humour, and ability to anticipate exactly what we needed made him stand out as an exceptional ambassador for the region.

Across the entire trip, every Wendy Wu representative we encountered was outstanding—deeply knowledgeable about local history, culture, and traditions, and clearly proud to share their heritage.

grace gao the tour guide was fantastic. the tour covered the major tourist spots. My only concern was the number on the tour 28. As there were several members on the tour who were high maintenance and she was pressed to meet their constant demands. More attention needs to given to altitude sickness as two members of the party had to forgo Tibet and six had difficulty in Lhasa. Otherwise great trip

Every question I had about the tour was answered. The tour I booked to China was great and on the holiday there were no problems at all. Everything worked like clockwork and I would be happy to use them again.

A special mention goes to our guide, Jason, who was outstanding, knowledgeable, organised and warm. He made sure the whole group was well taken care of. The local guides also brought every location to life with their knowledge.

Overall, it was a wonderful trip and one we'd happily recommend to anyone thinking of visiting China.

Wondeful varied tour through China. Extremely well organised and planned. Great thought has gone into the accommodation and meals. Thoroughly enjoyed our time.

We missed out on the Black Friday offer of upgrade to Business Class flight as per Wendy Wu advertising, but that was not customer service person's fault. The web advertisement said it was available up to 12 December (and still does on their website).

Well organised. Great cultural experience, opened my eyes wide, many wow moments. Ticked all my boxes. Steven is a fantastic group guide, and the local guides were great too, all very interesting to listen too. I appreciated how much we covered in the time we had at places was only because of the way the guides knew their area and were motivated to give us as much experience as possible.

The consultant Zoe Webber was very prompt and informative with her replies via emails. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
