The holiday is very comprehensive and covered all of the locations and experiences that I was hoping for. The hotels were excellent as was all the food. Our tour lead, Lilla, went above and beyond to make sure we were all satisfied, definitely going the extra mile to retrieve lost phones and wallets! I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a well rounded experience of China

Excellent holiday. Very well organised, with very full agendas every day. On paper some of the agenda items didn’t seem that interesting, but once there greatly exceeded expectations, lots of great surprises.
The tour leader we had for the trip (Andy) was exceptional and ensured everything ran perfectly and everyone’s needs were met. The local tour guides were very knowledgeable and again ensured the group got the maximum benefit from every location we visited by
providing good background information before each visit and then site specific information during attendance on site.
My only criticism was the food, while good quality was a bit safe, that is they lacked dishes with good spice and chilli which I was expecting in certain regions, which I feel was due to “westernising” the menu to cater to a large group. Options should be made available for more adventurous eaters.
I also would have appreciated more street food style eating rather than having every meal in a closed in room at a round table.
Overall a great trip.

A fantastic and comprehensive tour of China which was superbly organised from start to finish thanks to our wonderful, professional and very friendly guide called Grace. In fact all of our guides for each city were brilliant too. Local knowledge and their english were outstanding. I can thoroughly recommend this holiday. The weather was in our favour which helped. The food was plentyful and varied and the hotels were all top class.

Very well managed with perfect execution-a fabulous trip and opportunity to be see the fantastic sights and culture in China. It was an adventure using, train, plane and ship to cover so much ground and experience pockets of this growing natuon. Highly recommended!

From the very first day to our last our trip has been superb with amazing local guides and our main guide (Amanda) who looked after everyone at our group of 25 travelers very well, I highly recommend this trip to get some cultural and historical exposure to china, all our visits and shows were of very high quality.

Had an amazing time in China, our guide Lila was very helpful and friendly and the local guides were very knowledgeable about the areas. I would 100 percent book another tour with Wendy Wu

This 16 day tour of the highlights of China was amazing. Wendy Wu organised everything perfectly, and our guide Gary Guo was excellent. He managed to shepherd 18 of us through Beijing, Xian, Yichang, Yangtze River cruise, Chongqing, Guilin, Yangshuo and Shanghai via 2 high speed trains, 2 internal flights and 2 river cruises (4 nights and 4 hours).

The standard of the hotels was very good, and all busses were of a high standard with good, safe drivers.

Everything listed as included in the itinerary was included, and the few extra options were of good quality.

The food was plentiful and of good quality, although it did get somewhat monotonous over the 2 weeks of very similar dishes for lunch and dinner.

I would not hesitate to recommend Wendy Wu and Gary Guo for a tour of China.

The tour was exceptionally well run. Local guides were all knowledgeable & engaging. Our tour guid "Amanda" was fantastic, so patient and knowledgeable.

Nice hotels - breakfast was buffet in all hotels; chinese restaurant banquet every lunch & dinner.

The sights were well picked, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, The Great Wall, Terracotta warriors, and Pandas before a relaxing recharge of the batteries on a Yankzee River cruise.

The Avatar mountains were very very wet - not much views but we did it all the same.
Some stops eg jade & silk factories & brewery were hard sales.
Shows were optional & some included.
This tour is full on, but fantastic and well planned.

Excellent tour. Just 17 of us, from UK, Ireland, NZ and Australia. China was an eye-opener, from the Great Wall to huge bustling cities, bullet trains and smooth roads filled with the latest electric cars. Tour leader George Pu was excellent.

Extremely well managed and excellent value for money considering the vast range of activities included. Local guides exceptionally good, caring and knowledgeable. Hotels were of a very good standard and the food was decent. All aspects of the trip were well communicated. I would hesitate to recommend Wendy Wu’s Glories of China.
