I made two phone calls to customer services (Julia) enquiring about the Glories of China Tour. Julia was very helpful and understood the concerns I had about logistics. She was able to allay those concerns and provide reassurances . This was extremely helpful and has allowed me to progress to a booking . Excellent customer services help .

Excellent itinerary covering Beijing, Great Wall, temples, Terra-cotta Warriors, Pandas, bullet trains and more. The first 2 weeks were full on. Meals were really good Chinese food. Hotels were excellent locations and of 4 stars or higher. Our national guide (Summer) stayed with us through out the trip, with supporting local guides.

Wendy Wu delivers just like they say.

Awaiting to take my first tour with them in August 2026.

This is a review of the booking process...

Using WW made life easy. Total inclusion equals low stress. Nice!

Only 4 stars since there is often the impression that staff are flat stick and there were often minor delays (info or a reply promised by Friday but not actioned till Mon/Tue). Sometimes small errors are made so it pays to stay engaged and check everything, rather than assuming perfection. I find that if I ask, the WW staff are happy to oblige (eg getting the booking ref for the airline), but we wouldn't have been given it otherwise. Similarly we weren't advised that repeat customers got a discount, but happened to read it online... Many other travel firms are more proactive about those things.

What a fabulous holiday amazing our national guide Louis was brilliant as were the local guides
The itinerary was packed in a great way
Loved the bullet train
Every part was so well organised
If I had to make one comment on the trip
I would say the visit to the Muslim quarter wasn’t necessary
It was a hot day after a long travel and an early flight
The walk along a street and back wasn’t the best use of an hour

We also genuinely appreciate your constructive observation regarding the visit to the Muslim Quarter. We completely understand that, after a long journey and an early start, an hour's walk in the heat may not have felt like the best use of time in that moment. This stop is typically included to offer a glimpse into the rich cultural and religious diversity of the region, but we take your point that the circumstances on the day made it less enjoyable than we would have hoped. Please be assured that we will review this element of the itinerary with our ground team, and we will consider whether alternative options or greater flexibility might be offered on that particular day for future departures.
