All of Wendy Wu's staff from the initial booking through the whole tour were brilliant
the itinerary was everything we hoped for and we had a wonderful time, we will be back !

The holiday was amazing from start to finish. All sightseeing trips were fantastic.
Food was great in every location.
Hotels were lovely all had comfortable beds plus everything was very clean.
We had a magnificent guide called Andy who went above and beyond to make sure everything went according to plan .
I would highly recommend this tour as it gives a fantastic insight to China .

From Beijing to Shanghai and everything in between absolutely amazing holiday.
Tour size (16) was perfect & managed very well by Aaron our tour guide.
Hotel’s & restaurants chosen throughout the tour were very good, my only complaint would be that some of the hotels did not have a bar/lobby to relax & have a drink.
All additional tour guides were professional.
It was good to try different types of Chinese food as we visited different regions.
Overall China exceeded our expectations & would highly recommend this tour, well done Wendy Wu

A very intense but enjoyable holiday.
Our national guide, Cecilia, was superb.

Great tour, our National Guide Ian was great, organised, knowledgeable and a genuine good guy.
All local guides added to what Ian didn’t know in detail.
Accommodation was all of a good quality and the transport was great.
Saw everything we wanted, Pandas 🐼 were great.

The Wendy Wu China tour far exceeded our expectations in every way, thanks to our National ****** Addison and the local guides we met along the way. Every aspect of the tour had been carefully thought out and great care taken to provide us with a diverse and interesting picture of China. The places we were taken, the experiences we were given and the culture we observed were fascinating. Each hotel we stayed in on our tour was first rate and we travelled in comfort by coach with first class drivers. I could not recommend this tour more highly as Addison went above and beyond to accommodate everyone in the tour group, always with a smile nothing was ever an issue. Japan was more of a contrast to China than we expected, Sumiko was a great National ******, very knowledgeable about Japan and went the extra mile to ensure we were all happy. My hats off to Sumiko for being able to get the whole group around Japan without any local guides. Even when things came up out of Sumiko's control she managed to find away to work around them. Highly recommend this tour

My wife and I went on the holiday to China 6-20 Apr 26 and had a really wonderful time. Our guide Linda, really made the whole holiday extra special. Our time was well planned, well organized and well supported with all the extra local guides Linda used for the whole of the holiday. She organized extra shows and activities that gave us a real taste of her country, and the food she chose for our lunch and dinner meals gave us a broad choice of local regional dishes from all the places we visited. For the 2 weeks we spent in China Linda managed to cram in everything I had on my `bucket list`and a lot more besides. China is a vast country with lots of fascinating historic and modern sites to see. The initial cost of the holiday may seem expensive, but once you see what is included in the cost, it is worth every penny. My wife and I enjoyed this holiday so much we are now looking into visiting Japan next year (2027), thank you Wendy Wu for a really great holiday, with lots of wonderful memories.

An amazingly full schedule for 16 days. Saw China's amazing historic sites. Tour guide was excellent. Would travel with Wendy Wu again.

Both tours had excellent national guides and wonderful tours experiences. The coaches were reasonably comfortable but we were disappointed that the coach windows in China were not clean. The hotels in China were normally 4 star whereas in Japan most were 3 star. The China tour was more strenuous and fast paced.

Japan Uncovered was an excellent and well organised tour and Akiko our guide was superb. Only comments would be for more evening entertainment and a few more Western food options for those who do not like fish or tofu.
Gems of China was again an excellent and well organised tour and the options for evening shows gave a the trip a fuller program. CiCi our guide was fabulous and the local guides also added to the whole experience, will recommend both tours to family and friends.
Thankyou Wendy Wu for anther fabulous experience and interesting trip and your Office staff were excellent with sorting out all the questions we had prior to arrival in Japan & China.

I was met at the airport and taken to the hotel without fuss. I joined my longer tour the next day and I did not have access to the tour guide but the hotel was well situated and it was easy to walk around and settle in before the tour.

Although this trip was short, it was packed with lots of sights and experiences.
The National Guide Ivan was kind, generous with his time and so knowledgeable. The local guides also had a lot to offer.
Our schedule was full, early starts to beat queues and late finishes but the hotels were in good positions to be able to walk out if you wished.
It difficult to choose an highlight but for me it might just be The Great Wall, or maybe The Terracotta Army. I also found the robots amazing.
We all felt safe on the trip, found the people friendly and proud of their country

Holiday of a lifetime. Saw everything we wanted to see.

Great organisation from Wendy Wu, packed a lot in. Great hotels, clean with large comfy beds. Great food.

Best of all was our tour guide Jacky Zhang who looked after us so well and made sure everything was perfect.
