Book your holiday to Kyrgyzstan with Wendy Wu Tours

Kyrgyzstan is a Central Asian country along the Silk Road, the ancient trade route between China and the Mediterranean, and of incredible natural beauty and proud nomadic traditions and often referred to as the “Switzerland of Central Asia”, with its soaring mountain ranges, glistening glaciers and lofty pine forests.

Kyrgyzstan is also home to some of Asia’s largest lakes, the most famous being Issyk-Kul in the northwest. Kyrgyzstan shares borders with Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and China. Lake Issy-Kul is among the world’s most glorious lakes, surrounded by snow covered majestic Tian-Shan Mountains and are home to snow leopards, lynx and sheep.

Not only can you discover amazing scenery, but you can also enjoy an experience of nomadic lifestyle. The yurt is still highly symbolic and families still spend their summers in the high pastures with their livestock.
