An affluent barrio of wide leafy streets and a timeless elegance, Recoleta is full of classical mansions, boutique shops, fine dining establishments (as well as some delicious street food options) and fine art. The neighbourhood’s most famous sight though, is its cemetery. The burial plot of choice for Argentina’s rich and richer, the mausoleums here are out-of-this-world, with incredible displays of Art Deco, Gothic and Art Nouveau. Eva Peron (Evita) is also buried here.
